Red Cross helicopter crashes in Kashmir

An International Committee of the Red Cross helicopter crashed in Pakistan’s part of Kashmir today and the two pilots on board were injured, a Pakistani security official said.

The helicopter went down at 11.56am local time (6.56am Irish time) in the Neelum Valley and the pilots were being evacuated to Islamabad for treatment.

The helicopter was involved in earthquake relief efforts.
