At least four die as blasts rock Indian holy city

Explosions rocked a railway station and a Hindu temple today in the Indian holy city of Varanasi. At least four people were killed.

As news of the explosions spread, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh appealed for calm, said his spokesman, Sanjaya Baru. He did not say what caused the blasts.
