An explosion targeting a police patrol in central Baghdad killed at least two civilians and injured 10 today, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.

An explosion targeting a police patrol in central Baghdad killed at least two civilians and injured 10 today, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.

The blast happened at about 10.40am local time in Tahrir Square, said Maj. Falah al-Mohammedawi, a spokesman for the ministry, which oversees police.
