A man was pulled alive from the rubble of a six-storey building today, more than 24-hours after it collapsed, killing at least 18 people in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka, a rescue official said.

A man was pulled alive from the rubble of a six-storey building today, more than 24-hours after it collapsed, killing at least 18 people in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka, a rescue official said.

Using drills and search lights, rescuers found 32-year-old Sumon Mia, an electrician, who was trapped in a space between two broken pillars on the ground floor of the collapsed building, an army rescue official said.
