US military says no survivors found at landslide site

The Philippines government has said 50 survivors have been pulled from a school buried under a mudslide.

US Marines searching at the site of a massive landslide in the Philippines have not found any survivors so far, a US military spokesman said today.

News reports had earlier quoted a government spokesman as saying 50 survivors had been found.
