Police fire on Pakistan cartoon protesters

Police fired on a crowd protesting the Prophet Muhammad cartoons today in eastern Pakistan, injuring at least four people, police said.

The incident happened in Chaniot, a small city about 300 kilometres northeast of Multan, where hundreds of protesters gathered, residents said.
