Israel begins review of possible sanctions for Hamas

Israel’s acting prime minister was today reviewing a number of sanctions his government could impose once a Hamas-dominated parliament is sworn in this weekend.

Proposals on the table include immediately barring thousands of Palestinian workers and sealing off the Gaza Strip completely.
