Partial face transplant 'a door to the future'

The woman who received the world’s first partial face transplant showed off her new features in a room full of reporters and cameras today.

“I now have a face like everyone else,” Isabelle Dinoire said in Amiens at her first news conference since the groundbreaking surgery in November. “A door to the future is opening.”
