Three US soldiers killed in roadside bomb
A roadside bombing has killed three US soldiers south of Baghdad, the military said today.
The military issued a statement saying the soldiers were killed yesterday by a bomb that struck their combat patrol.
The soldiers, belonging to Multi-National Division-Baghdad, were the first reported US personnel killed since January 28.
The deaths take the total of US military personnel killed to 2,245 since the Iraq invasion began in March 2003.
