Pakistan army kills 14 militants
The Pakistani army killed 14 suspected militants while responding to an overnight rocket attack on an army outpost in north-western Pakistan, a military official said today.
The casualties came during the attack on a military post in Sarbandki village, near the border with Afghanistan, that killed seven government soldiers, the official said.
“Yes, 14 terrorists were killed when our forces returned fire, and they included some foreigners and a local commander of the miscreants,” the official said, using a term often used to describe Taliban and al-Qaida-linked fighters.
