Ukraine today vehemently denied the existence of secret prisons allegedly run by the US Central Intelligence Agency on Ukrainian soil.

“The very raising of that issue is absurd,” said Vasiliy Filipchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
