Palestinians threaten to use force to free Britons

Palestinian police today threatened to use force to win the release of three British hostages snatched earlier this week by gunmen in Gaza.

“Those who have them have not yet made any demands and have not yet announced who they are. These are enemies of the Palestinian people. We will get them. If we have to use force we will,” said Palestinian Police Chief Alaa Housni.

On Wednesday, armed gunmen kidnapped British aid Kate Burton, 25, and her parents in the town of Rafah – not far from the Gaza-Egypt border.
