Berlusconi accused of ordering 'bribe' payment

A leading Italian newspaper today said Milan prosecutors had placed Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi under investigation for allegedly bribing a British lawyer to give false testimony.

No one was immediately available at Berlusconi’s office to comment on the report.
