Thai police arrest Briton on drug charges

Thai police in the beach resort of Pattaya have arrested a British man on charges of drug trafficking.

Mark Freely, 45, from Manchester, was arrested on Sunday after police seized about one kilogram of cocaine in his rented room at the popular resort, said police Lt. Col. Theerasak Charoensri.

Freely could face the death penalty if convicted.
