Four killed in Indonesian mosque collapse
The minaret of a mosque under construction collapsed today in the Indonesian capital Jakarta, killing four workers and injuring five others.
Officers and local residents were searching in the rubble of the mosque in north Jakarta amid reports more people may be trapped, said Sgt. Suwarso.
The 15-metre minaret fell without warning, said Suwarso, who goes by a single name.
Four workers were killed and five others were being treated at a local hospital for unspecified injuries, Suwarso said.
