A suicide bomber in a car launched an attack near the airport at the western Afghan city of Herat today, injuring three NATO peacekeepers.

A suicide bomber in a car launched an attack near the airport at the western Afghan city of Herat today, injuring three NATO peacekeepers.

General Haroon Asifi said the attack happened on the road to the airport, and that three foreign peacekeepers were wounded. He did not know their nationalities. The attacker died.
