Sharon due to leave hospital today

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon slept well overnight and will be released from hospital today after suffering a mild stroke, Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital said in a statement.

Sharon will be examined by his doctors early today and is expected to be released in the afternoon, the statement said.
