Surgeons remove large growth from girl's face

A 14-year-old Haitian girl was in a critical yet stable condition today after doctors in Miami removed a 16-pound tumour-like mass from her face.

Doctors at Holtz Children’s Hospital finished operating on Marlie Casseus early today, nearly 16 hours after the procedure began.
