241 detainees released in Iraq

Some 241 detainees held by the multi-national forces in Iraq were released today, the al-Iraqiyaa television station has said.

However, such releases are common and arranged weeks in advance, and there was no indication the release was connected to demands by the kidnappers of four Westerners that all Iraqi prisoners be released.
