Poll: Israelis approve of Peres in Sharon party

Thirty per cent of Israelis surveyed in a poll published today said Shimon Peres’s decision to support Ariel Sharon’s Kadima Party would increase their chances of voting for the new movement.

Only 15% of respondents said Peres’s move would decrease their chances of voting for Sharon’s party, according to the poll for the Haaretz-Dialog newspaper.
