Shimon Peres 'to join Sharon government'

Shimon Peres has decided to leave the Israeli Labour Party and join Ariel Sharon’s next government, a senior Sharon adviser said today.

The adviser, Lior Horev, said Peres would not join Sharon’s new party, Kadima.
