Police investigate building explosion in Austria

Federal counterterrorism authorities were today examining the wreckage of a Vienna building that sustained heavy damage in a suspicious explosion overnight.

Austria’s national anti-terrorism squad was deployed after firefighters found batteries, cables and other items that suggested a home-made explosive device may have been detonated.
