A man pleaded guilty today to the murder of black teenager Anthony Walker in England.

Paul Taylor, 20, admitted killing the 18-year-old A-level student in Huyton, Merseyside, in July.

Anthony was bludgeoned to death with an axe as he walked his girlfriend to a bus stop with his cousin Marcus Binns.

Another man, Michael Barton, 17, denies Anthony’s murder and is due to go on trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
