British troops ‘may’ leave Iraq by year’s end

British troops may leave Iraq by the end of next year according to the country's President, Jalal Talabani.

He says Iraqi soldiers should be able to take over in Basra by then.

But he says to pull out now would be a catastrophe for his country.
