UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan arrived in Baghdad today for a meeting with Iraqi leaders, the prime minister’s spokesman said.

Annan was expected to hold a press conference with Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari at midday today, government spokesman Leith Kubba said.
