Halloween film producer dies from Jordan blast injuries

Moustapha Akkad, the Syrian-born producer of the Halloween horror films, died today from injuries sustained in the triple hotel bombings in Amman, Jordan.

Akkad, 74, who lived in Los Angeles, died in a Jordanian hospital where he was being treated, according to surgeon Dr. Yousef Qisous.
