Police officers killed in Iraqi suicide attack

A suicide bomber detonated his car today near a police patrol in Baquoba, 35 miles northeast of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

It’s reported that five policemen were killed and five others wounded, officials said.

In Baghdad, meanwhile, Ghanem Mohammed, an employee at the Education ministry, was killed when gunmen opened fire on his car as he was driving to work in west Baghdad, according to police Major Mousa Abdul-Karim.
