Voters turn against Schwarzenegger

A majority of California voters said they are unlikely to support Arnold Schwarzenegger for re-election as governor next year, mostly because of his call for a special election next week, according to a state-wide survey today.

But Schwarzenegger remains a competitive candidate when matched against potential Democratic challengers, the Field Poll found.
