The handcuffs allegedly used to tie up the girlfriend of a British backpacker during an attack in the Australian Outback were put in the same room as property belonging to the accused, a court heard today.

Crime scene examiner Tim Sandry took the handcuffs from Darwin in the Northern Territory to Adelaide in South Australia in 2002 when he flew there to examine items that had been seized belonging to Bradley Murdoch.
