Spain scraps 'stutter laws'

The Spanish government has abolished laws that denied people who stutter the right to work as police officers, firefighters and civil servants.

“As of today, all the scourges of discrimination toward these people disappear,” Spanish Secretary of State for social affairs Amparo Valcarce said yesterday after the Cabinet approved the reform.
