Sharon-Abbas meeting postponed

A meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has been postponed for several weeks, Palestinian official Nabil Abu Rdeneh said today.

The meeting – the first between the two since Israel’s Gaza Strip pullout last month – had already been postponed once and was tentatively rescheduled for tomorrow. But Abu Rdeneh said more time was needed.
