Schroeder, Merkel to share power in German Cabinet

German Conservative leader Angela Merkel is to become Chancellor in apower-sharing deal, say party officials in Germany.

Gerhard Schroeder's Social Democrats would get eight seats in the new German Cabinet, with six for Merkel’s group, party officials say.
