Russia sends quake aid plane to Pakistan
Russia today sent a cargo plane to the Pakistani capital, carrying tents, beds, blankets and other bedding for victims of the devastating weekend earthquake, the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
It was the second humanitarian shipment to be dispatched to Pakistan, after a plane-load of emergency workers and search dogs left for Islamabad yesterday.
