Austrian school evacuated after hydrochloric acid spill

Authorities evacuated a Vienna school after about 30 litres of hydrochloric acid spilled in a workshop and a teacher was overcome by fumes, officials said today.

The accident happened yesterday when the acid leaked from a faulty valve, police said.
