Belguim's Princess Mathilde gives birth to third child
Princess Mathilde, the wife of Crown Prince Philippe, today gave birth to their third child Emmanuel, who will be fourth in line of succession to the Belgian throne.
Princess Mathilde had a daughter, Elisabeth, four years ago; and a son, Gabriel, in 2003.
Philippe, the son of King Albert II, married Mathilde in 1999. Albert had succeeded his brother, Baudouin, who died childless in 1993.
Philippe is first in the line of succession, followed by Elisabeth and Gabriel.
