London man charged with teen murder

A man has appeared in court in London accused of murdering teenager Rochelle Holness.

The 15-year-old’s dismembered remains were found on a housing estate in Catford in south London on Wednesday last.

47-year-old John Joseph Mc Grady, who is from the area, has been remanded in custody following his appearance this morning before Belmarsh Magistrates Court.

A woman who had also been arrested by detectives investigating Rochelle’s murder has been released.
