Gang jailed for attempted raid on Heathrow airport

Eight men have been jailed in Britain for a total of 67 years for the attempted Heathrow heist last year.

The gang of would-be robbers had planned to steal more than £30m (€44m) worth of cash, diamonds and gold from an airport warehouse.

The men were captured by more than 100 armed officers who'd been lying in wait for them after weeks of surveillance.
