Bush thanks international community for response to disaster

US President George Bush today sent out a special thank you to the 115 countries that responded to the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina.

The clean-up effort continues on the Gulf Coast as people in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana attempt to re-build their lives.
