New Zealand police recruit has a hand in own arrest

A New Zealand police recruit had a hand in his own downfall for an unsolved assault.

During a fingerprinting training exercise at the Royal New Zealand Police College, the recruit gave his prints – which promptly matched him to an arrest warrant for a serious assault, Wellington’s Dominion Post newspaper reported.
