Two British soldiers killed in southern Iraq

The Ministry of Defence today said two British soldiers had been killed in southern Iraq.

Iraqi police said a British convoy was struck today by a roadside bomb near the al-Zubeir area, about 13 miles south of Basra, killing the troops.
