19 die as driverless bus rolls over cliff

An overloaded minibus with no driver at the wheel rolled over a cliff in the north of South Africa today, killing 19 people and critically injuring four, according to reports.

The 16-passenger vehicle had been carrying 25 passengers on the main N1 highway toward the Zimbabwe border when the driver stopped and left the vehicle briefly, police said.
