Israeli army reports explosion near Lebanese border

An explosion has rocked a northern Israeli town along the Lebanese border, the army said.

It said it was investigating the source of the explosion today in the town of Margaliot. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon occasionally fire rockets across the border.
