Pakistani pilot safe as fighter jet crashes
A Pakistan air force jet crashed during a routine training flight in southern Pakistan today, but no one was hurt.
The French-made Mirage aircraft crashed near Badin, a town in southern Sindh province, said spokesman Air Commodore Sarfaraz Khan.
Khan said the plane’s pilot ejected safely and there were no reports of any injuries on the ground.
Air force official Squadron Leader Naeeemul Haq said the jet crashed because of a technical problem.
