Couple accused of starving daughter to death

A German couple accused of starving their seven-year-old daughter to death went on trial today on charges of murder after the girl’s body was found.

The couple, identified only as Burkhard M and Marlies Sch, are charged with neglect leading to murder over the death of the girl in March.
