Former L'Oreal chief Dalle dies

Francois Dalle, chief executive of L’Oreal for 27 years and credited with transforming the French cosmetics company into a global giant, has died. He was 87.

Dalle died on August 9 in Geneva where he lived in retirement and will be remembered at a private ceremony at his residence tomorrow, according to his personal secretary.
