Iraqi constitution will be completed, says PM

Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari today said Iraq’s constitution would be finished within a week, despite some disagreement on federalism, self-determination, distribution of wealth, the election law and the role of Islam.

Al-Jaafari added that none of the political leaders wanted parliament to be dissolved by not reaching an agreement by Monday’s deadline.
