Pulling out of Iraq 'sends wrong signal'

US President George Bush today said withdrawing troops from Iraq would send the wrong signal to insurgents.

Bush, who met at his Texas ranch with members of his foreign policy team, said he understands and respects the views of anti-war advocates like a California mother camped outside his ranch, but said it would be a mistake to bring US troops home now from Iraq.
