Fourteen US Marines killed in Iraqi attack

Fourteen US Marines and a civilian interpreter were killed early today in western Iraq, the US command said.

The Marines, assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action when their vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device, the military said.
