Albania steps up security measures after attacks

Albania has increased security at Mother Teresa International Airport and public institutions following terrorist attacks in Britain and Egypt, police said today.

Police have “undertaken many measures to strengthen the border crossing points by checking foreign citizens, especially those from Islamic countries”, a police statement said.
