A hotel porter arrested in connection with last week’s attempted bomb attacks in London has been charged with wasting police time, it emerged today.

A hotel porter arrested in connection with last week’s attempted bomb attacks in London has been charged with wasting police time, it emerged today.

Adnan Abdelah, 24, of Bromley-by-Bow, east London, was arrested under the Terrorism Act last Friday after he attended the British Transport Police office at Tottenham Court Road Tube station.

He will appear before Bow Street Magistrates’ Court in London today. Abdelah has also been charged over the alleged possession of a forged French ID card.
